Elizabeth Lester, 73, of Ferryville, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Elizabeth Jean Lester, 73, of Ferryville, Wisconsin, died September 17, 2014 at Lakeview Nursing Home in West Salem. She was born November 6, 1940 in Kentucky to Bill and Icabell (Potter) Daniels. Elizabeth was also know as Sis and Sissy by most of the family members. Elizabeth loved her husband dearly and they loved listening to country music and watching wrestling. She loved her pets and doll collection. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Larry) Adkins; two grandsons: Keith and Kyle Adkins; two great-grandsons: Daniel and Dravin Adkins; one sister, Nancy Sue (Robert) Cline; and many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Leon who died exactly one year before Elizabeths death; and one sister, Versie Daniels Bingham. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua, 123 W Decker ( Highway 56) in Viroqua. Friends may call on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua. Burial will follow at the Ferryville Cemetery. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Homes of Viroqua and DeSoto are serving the family.
