Emily �Lee� Oliver

Emily "Lee" OliverFebruary 15, 2005 Emily "Lee" Oliver, age 81 of Viola, died at her home after a long illness on Tuesday, February 15, 2005. She was born on October 2, 1923 in Chicago to Fred and Ella (Winblad) Setinsky. On September 10, 1946 she was united in marriage to James B. Oliver and they resided in Chicago. Lee worked in the defense plant during WWII. She also worked for NCR and then Mercury Records for several years prior to the purchase of their farm near Readstown. After retiring from farming, they moved to Mound Park in Viola. Lee worked for Crazy Franks for many years and was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved to garden, crochet, knit, cook and bake. She also enjoyed having family and friends over to her house. Lee is survived by one daughter, Patricia (Roger) Burrow of Beloit; one son, Michael Oliver of Lake Forest, CA; two grandsons: Targan and Travis of Beloit; one sister, Linda (Roger) Nelson of Viroqua; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband on October 20, 1990, and one brother, Fred Setinsky, Jr.
