Emmett O. Egge

Born to eternal life May 24, 2013, at the age of 90 years. Beloved father of John (Chris Kleeba), Ronald (Marcia), Dennis (Carol). Loving grandfather of Ben (Cassie), Robert, Morgan (Chet), Brooke. Devoted great-grandfather of Ellani and Penelope. Loving uncle of Karen. Special friend of Paul Felton. Preceded in death by his parents, Oluf and Emma, wife Elizabeth, granddaughter Crystal, brothers Harold and John, sisters Katherine, Ada, Elfreda, and Christina. Emmett was a WWII veteran and a member of the Hamilton-Harris American Legion Post 0447. He retired from Egge Construction and House Moving. Funeral service will be held at the Vosseteig Larson Funeral Home (123 W. Decker St. Hwy. 56) in Viroqua at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2013. Duane Wallace will officiate. Burial will be in the Viola Cemetery with military rites by the Hamilton Harris American Legion Post 0447 and the Army Honors Team. A luncheon to follow at the Legion Club in Viola. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Viroqua on Friday May 31st from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Kickapoo Valley Rescue Squad or Hamilton-Harris American Legion Post 0447.
