Enor Jacobson, Jr. age 78 of LaCrosse, died Sunday, November 11, 2007 Enor M. Jacobson, age 78 died November 11, 2007 at his home. He was born June 25, 1929 to Enor and Mabel (Frydenlund) Jacobson. He married Janice Wachholz on November 2, 1957 at the English Lutheran Church in La Crosse, WI He farmed in Westby and was a third generation on the family farm. As an expert Volkswagon mechanic he built his own three wheel motorcycle. He was also a pilot and flew two different kinds of airplanes. After retiring in 1994 they moved to La Crosse. Enor served in the Army from 1954 until 1956 and was in the Army Reserve until 1962.He is survived by his wife, Janice; four daughters: Carolyn Jacobson, Diaine (Galen) Schneberger, Linda (Brian) McClurg, Sally (Shawn) Brose; two sons: Glen Jacobson, Dale (Jackie) Jacobson; grandchildren: Jennifer, Matthew, Jolene, Jeffery, Julie, Brooke, Kyle, Morgan, Kerbie and Emilie; one brother: Harlan (Evanelle) Jacobson.He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Main Street, Hwy. 14 South in Westby. Pastor Dennis Hallemeier will officiate. Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Military rites by Syverson-Funk American Legion and the Westby V.F.W. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is serving the family.
