Eunice Worman

Eunice Worman, 86, of Clinton, formerly of the Redmound area in Vernon County, died Friday, July 7, 2006, at the Alden-Meadow Park Health Care Center. She was born in Winter, WI, on November 4, 1919, to Hazel and Erton Raymond. She was united in marriage to Boyd Worman on Dec. 31, 1938. They farmed in the Redmound area until 1966, when they moved to Beloit where she worked for Freeman Shoes until her retirement and then pursued her dream of sewing for others. They were long-standing members of New Hope united Methodist Church in Redmound. Eunice is survived by four daughters, Donna Champion of Leesburg, FL, Elaine (Tim) Thomas of LaMesa, CA, Lola McDowell of Knoxville, TN, and Lynelle Worman of Beloit, WI; one daughter-in-law, Maxine Worman Payne of LaCrosse, WI; two sisters, Ila Horkheimer of Rockford, IL, and Ione Schoville of Janesville, WI; three brothers, Gilbert Raymond of Kingsley, MI, Darrel Raymond of Bloomington, MN, and Leon Raymond of Beloit, WI; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd, on Aug. 14, 2001; one son, Dwight Worman, on June 1, 1998; and one son-in-law, Larry Champion, on Aug.14, 2000. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at New Hope United Methodist Church in Redmound, Rev. Bill Busch, officiating. Visitation will be held at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 W. Decker (Hwy 56) in Viroqua on Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. and at the church Tuesday after 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to New Hope United Methodist Church in Redmound or Alden-Meadow Park Health Care Center. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
