Evelyn M. Williams, age 80 of Westby, died Saturday, March 31, 2012. Evelyn M. Williams, age 80 of Westby, died Saturday, March 31, 2012. She was born on March 24, 1932 to John and Elsie (Mason) Sisbach. After graduation from Viroqua High School in 1950 she enlisted in the Air Force. On October 10, 1951 she was united in marriage to Noah Williams, Jr on Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming. Evelyn loved and enjoyed her family. She traveled to many places with her husband and family during his military career including Alaska, Greece, and Japan. She loved and enjoyed people and kept in contact with many that she met in her travels. Evelyn enjoyed gardening and puzzle games, especially Rummicue. Going to the Casino and fishing were also things that she enjoyed. Her church and the class of 1950 were especially important to her. She is survived by four children: Noah (Charlotte) Williams, III, Jonathon (Patricia) Williams, Joseph (Pamela) Williams and Janna (Randy) Von Ruden; eight grandchildren: Jessica (Jayme), Randy, Jr., Abigayle (Andy), Benjamin (Anne), Stacy (Robert), Chrissy (Chuck), William Bartley (Stacey) and Mitchell (Amber); eleven great grandchildren: Ashlin, Ethan, Avery, Samara, Scout, Danielle, Kassi, Jonathon Joseph, Liam, Taylor and Wesley; brother John (Anna) Sisbach; sister Mary Stakston; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; and her special friend Blaine Jothen and his family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Noah on December 11, 1996 and her daughter, Angela Hale July 22, 2007. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Westby. Pastor Steven Minnema will officiate with burial in the Our Saviors Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Hwy 14 in Westby, and at the church on Wednesday after 10 a.m. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is serving the family.
