Evonell J. Wyman, 75, of Westby died Friday, April 30, 2010. Evonell Joyce Wyman, Age 75, died surrounded by family on Friday, April 30, 2010 in her home near Dell, WI after a long bout with cancer. She was born April 10, 1935 in Westby, WI to Lester and Alice (Larson) Sagmoen. She married George Edward Wyman on November 28, 1953 whom she met while working at the Westby Theatre. Evonell was a housewife, mother, grand and great-grandmother and enjoyed many hobbies including quilting, sewing, crocheting, knitting, ceramics, embroidery, and was an avid reader. She enjoyed visits from her family and many friends. Evonell is survived by her seven children: David Wyman of Westby, Cynthia Manske of Coon Valley, Dale (Julie) Wyman of Fox Lake, Sandra Wyman of Prineville, OR, Daniel (Pandora) Wyman of Westby, Andrew (Cherice) Wyman, Scott (Kim) Wyman all of Westby. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren: Brad (Bonnie) Wyman of Necedah, Karrie Wyman of LaCrosse, Chelsea Wyman of Westby, Anthony (Gabrielle) Manske of North East, MD, Brian Manske of Coon Valley, Paul (Kristi) Mortenson of Fargo, ND, Joshua (Priscilla) Mortenson of Alvin, TX, Trisha (Tim) Dahlen and Taylor Wyman of Westby, Christina Cronn and Gina Kluiber of Milwaukee, Amber Kluiber, Dillon and Colby Wyman all of Westby. She is further survived by 12 great-grandchildren: Cassady Dean-Wyman of LaCrosse, Sayre and Mia Wyman of Necedah, Madison Ann Manske of North East, MD, Jacob and Selena Mortenson of Fargo, ND, Britney and Westley Mortenson of Alvin, TX, Jaden Cronn of Portage, WI, Harlow Oium of Westby, Lance and Gage Dahlen of Westby, and sibling Shirley (Norman) Sidie of Westby; three sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, and her adopted sister-in-law Linda (Forrest) Dowling of Westby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George, two grandchildren, Devon Scott Wyman and Ethan Andrew Wyman; and one son-in-law DuWayne Manske; one sister-in-law and three brothers-in-law. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Dell United Methodist Church with Reverend Karen Bankes officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Main, in Westby and also on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is serving the family.
