Faith Barbara Nettnin

Faith Barbara Nettnin, age 85, of La Farge, WI, passed away peacefully in her sleep and woke up in heaven on Friday, January 7, 2022. She was born on September 4, 1936, in Chicago, IL. After retirement she and her husband, Donald G. Nettnin moved to La Farge in 1987, where they built their home on Jug Creek Road. Known by most as “Barb”, she was a child of a preacher and grew into a Godly woman. She loved the Lord and served in the church in many capacities. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, knitting, and board games but most of all she enjoyed being with her family. Surviving family includes sister, Janice Tosch; her children: Donald and wife Trudy (Powell) Nettnin, Janice (Nettnin) and husband Hal Prates, Gail (Nettnin) and husband Richard Cordero; ten grandchildren: David, Brian, and Timothy Prates, Tony and Richard Cordero, Ashley Klein (Nettnin) and Dustin Nettnin, Michael, Allen and Jessica Nettnin; five great-grandchildren: Kaleb and Kevin Prates, Emily Prates, Jade Nettnin, and Ivy Klein; and many nieces and nephews. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Robert and Mrs. Bernice Burrows; her husband, Donald Nettnin; and her two youngest children, Michael and Barbie Nettnin. A memorial gathering is being planned for this coming Spring; burial is at the Bear Creek Cemetery. Mom – Deep in our hearts, you’ll always stay. Loved and missed every day!
