Faye Coy

Tuesday, October 29, 2013 Faye Lorraine Coy, 88, of Viroqua died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at the Bethel Home in Viroqua. She was born October 6, 1925 in Viroqua, Wis. to Eugene Henry and Vila (Walling) Henry. On December 14, 1945 she was united in marriage to Bernard Coy at the Viroqua Church of Christ in Viroqua. She lived most of her life in Viroqua until her husbands death, when she moved to Stoughton, Wis. This union was blessed with one son, Michael and two daughters, Barbara Jean and Bonnie Scalissi. In earlier years Mrs. Coy was active in her church activities and Royal Neighbors Lodge and Viroqua Garden Club. On December 14, 1995 the Coys celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 1,1996; one sister, Flossie; brother, Floyd; and her daughter, Bonnie. Faye is survived by her son, Michael (Dawn); and daughter, Barbara; two granddaughters, Julie and Jessica; many nieces and nephews of Madison and Verona. Blessed be our memory of Faye Lorraine Coy. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 W. Decker St., (Hwy 56) in Viroqua. Pastor Jeff Coon will officiate with burial in the Viroqua Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at noon. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
