Most notably, she served as the Meal Site Manager at Bigley Plaza, where she touched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness.
Her love for flowers was well-known, and she often found joy in cultivating beautiful gardens that brought happiness to those around her.
Frances is survived by her loving children: Steven (Julie Mills) Bekkedal, Brian (Cindy) Bekkedal, and Amy (Mike) Simonis. She was a proud grandmother to Matthew Bekkedal, Angella (Spencer) Fox, Lauren (Alex) Ehlert, and Amanda (Justin) Running, and cherished her role as a great-grandmother to Dalton Dobbs, Lukas and Kara Bekkedal, Jameson, Lyla, and Emma Ehlert, Remington, Hudson, Annika, and Makinley Running; and a sister, Rachel Cornell. In addition to her immediate family, she leaves behind her brother-in-law, Emil Cornell, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Ostrem and Myrna Ostrem; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, and her long time friend Dale Rood, all who will remember her fondly.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Bud, in 2009; a daughter, Jewel, in 1973; her parents; her sisters, Alice (Jergena) Schlicht, Doris Sorenson, and Arlene Severson; her brothers, Herbert Ostrem and John O. Ostrem; and an infant nephew, Michael Ostrem.
