Frances Marion CornellApril 13, 2005 Frances Marion Cornell, age 88, was born in Dutch Creek, near Bangor, WI to Wenzel and Frances (Bohonek) Souchek. On January 15, 1935 she was united in marriage to Emil Cornell in La Crosse County. She worked for Villa St. Joseph for 17 years as a nurses aid. She enjoyed gardening and country music, especially the Stattler Brothers. Frances also loved making crafts, quilts and afghans. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Westby and the WELCA. She is survived by three daughters: Lois (Harold) Dunnum of Lexington, KY, Bonnie (Ronald) Radke of Toledo, OH, and Ardell (Robert) Daffinrud of Coon Valley; two sons: Herbie (Hazel) Cornell and Emil (Rachel) Cornell, both of Coon Valley; 14 grandchildren: Christine (Bruce) Fruechte, Cameron Daffinrud, Daniel (Pat) Dunnum, Julie (Mark) Evans, Lisa (Tom) Miller, Kevin Cornell, Mark Cornell, David (Tammy) Cornell, Karla (Eric) Wevley, Sandra (Alan) Smith, Anne (Bob) Brown, Amy (David) Pett, Cynthia (Donald) Morrell, Lowell (Patti) Thompson; 30 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; her very close friend, Jane Fowler. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Emil on May 15, 1970; one son, Andrew John in 1947; a daughter, Shirley in 1969; one great-granddaughter, Claire Daffinrud; one brother, John Souchek; and five sisters: Elizabeth Cornell, Helen Jenson, Ann Paulson, Blanche Souchek, and Dorothy Hinds
