Gary E. Storm

Gary E. Storm, 53, of Janesville died Monday, May 17, 2010. Gary E. Storm, age 53, of Janesville and formerly of Sun Prairie, died Monday evening, May 17, 2010, at his home following a valiant fight with cancer. He was born on February 27, 1957. His parents were Eugene and Doris (Riddle) Storm. Gary enjoyed NASCAR and had raced stock cars. For the last 22 years he was employed by MATC Madison. On December 24, 2003, he was united in marriage to Ingrid Yttri and together they enjoyed riding their Harleys and 4 wheelers. Gary loved his family and valued his friends; Gary would do anything for anybody! He was a loving husband, great dad, the best grandpa and was especially proud of his granddaughter, Chloe. In addition to his wife, Ingrid, he is survived by his daughter, Ashley Campbell-Storm of Janesville; granddaughter, Chloe Campbell Storm of Janesville; mother and father-in-law, Alice and Harold Olson of Viroqua; father and mother-in-law, Ole and Sherri Yttri of LaFarge; brothers and sisters-in-law: Chris (Angie) Yttri of Twin Lakes, Scott (Andi) Yttri of Westby, Eric (Karri) Yttri of Viroqua, Doug (Brenda) Olson of Westby, Deb (Brian) Fingerson of Eagle Lake, MN, Cathy (Jay) Vosseteig of Westby and Curt (Holly) Parr of Rockton; aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces; and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and best friend, Junkyard. Friends may call on Saturday, May 22, 2010 from 1 to 3 p.m. with a Celebration of Life at 2:30 p.m. at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 W. Decker (Hwy 56) in Viroqua. In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials are preferred. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
