Gary Mowery, 60, of Westby, died Monday, May 18, 2015. Gary Mowery, 60, of Westby, died Monday, May 18, 2015. Gary drove truck for 38 years. He drove for Badger Corrugating, Gateway Foods, Flemmings, and Potato King. At present he was co-owner of Nordic Lanes. He was a member of the Westby Christiana Fire Department for 12 years. He enjoyed, family, friends, and new people he met along the way. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Gary was a character who drew other characters into his life. Gary is survived by his spouse, Pam Lee; seven children: Scott (Kaila) Mowery, Jason (Kristine) Mowery, Shana Mowery (Adam Steedle), Kelsey (Steffaine) Lee, Amy Schneider (Scott Fiksdal), Spencer (Amy) Lee, and Jeremiah Mowery; brother, Michael (Christine) Mowery; and 14 grandchildren: Austin, Brady, William, Boyd, Liberty, Lincoln, and Evangaline Mowery, Emma, Owen, Hudson, and Corbin Lee, Adalynn and Vivian Steedle, and Isaiah Fiksdal. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Patricia Mowery, and twin sister, Terri Nolte. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby. Pastor George Shick will officiate with burial to follow in the Mormon Coulee Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 4 to 7 pm. They may also call on Thursday from 10 am till the time of service at 11.
