Gary Yttri

d. June 24, 2015

Gary Yttri, 48, of La Crosse, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Gary enjoyed playing guitar from one of his prized collection of guitars with his friend Dan. He has always had a love of music his favorite band was Queensryche. He loved spending time with his beloved cat with which he had a special bond. He never said no to helping out anyone in need and often offered his time to do so. He was always making people laugh, even at his own expense. He had a huge heart. His family was everything to him, even when he felt under the weather, they always came first. His love was always there and you felt that love even after years of not seeing him. He was a unique, one-of-a-kind guy, the kind who gave when he had nothing to give. Gary was always thinking of others and what they might need ahead of himself and his own needs. You didn't need to talk to him every day to know he was always there for you, even just to say hi. Gary was very talented his job was with Bright-Way window service and he put his heart into his work when he wasn't working he enjoyed time with his family or friends He is survived by his Mother, Victoria Yttri; two Sisters: Laura (Todd) Olson, Kathy (Jeff) Cuchna; three Nephews: Christopher (Rachel) Olson, Brandon (Ashley) Olson, and Dustin Helgerson; one Niece Taylor Helgerson; and Great- Nephew, Nathan Olson.
