Gerald Anthony Lipscomb, 79, of Westby and formerly of Plymouth, WI, died on Sunday, November 2, 2014. He was born on July 20, 1935 in Milwaukee to Ralph and Hortense (Kasprzak) Lipscomb. On June 25, 1960 he was united in marriage to Rosemary Stadler in Milwaukee. Gerald was an electrician and enjoyed scuba diving and sky diving as well as hiking canoeing and woodworking. He was also interested: guitar, harmonica and bagpipes and he hand-made Native American Flutes which he sold at art fairs. He played with the Milwaukee Highlanders Pipe and Drum. Gerald was an amateur radio operator with the Civil Defense. As an electrician, he maintained and repaired the lasers at Woodcut Engraving in New Holstein. In addition to his wife, Rosemary, he is survived by three children: Michael (Elise) Lipscomb of West Allis, Christopher Lipscomb of Milwaukee, and Karen (James) Morrill of Westby; three grandchildren: Killian Morrill, Joshua Conter and Angelique Koszuta; one sister, Barbara (Harry) Warnock of Cascade; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Plymouth, Wisconsin. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is serving the family.
