Geralyn "Geri" Stout

Geralyn “Geri” Stout, age 59, of Mauston, WI, passed away peacefully Monday, September 6, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born November 10, 1961, to the late Donald and Earlene (Ford) Newell. She graduated from Highland High School and graduated from Fennimore Southwest Technical College with an Associate Degree in Business. She married Tom Stout in 1982. Geri enjoyed going out for Mexican, thrift shopping, fishing, reading, cards, beading, crafts and was a kind-hearted, caring woman who could solve any problem brought to her. Survivors include her husband of nearly 40 years, Tom Stout; her children, Allison Hendrickson, Andrea (Nate) Escher, David (Sydney) Stout; her step-daughter, Tricia Dicken; several grandchildren; her brothers, John (Linda) Goltz and Allen (Jenny) Newell; two sisters, Jo Newell and Sue (Jim) Bundy; many fur pets; other relatives and friends. Geri was preceded in death by her parents and her mother-in-law and father-in-law. In lieu of flowers, donations to the MS Society or American Cancer Society are appreciated. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
