Gregory Allen Lund

Gregory A. Lund “Lucky”, age 72, of Boscobel, WI passed away on January 16, 2022, at Gundersen Hospital in La Crosse due to heart failure. He was born December 20, 1949, in Boscobel to William and Mary (Groom) Lund. Greg worked a variety of jobs during his lifetime, including at the Chrysler Corporation in Belidere, IL and Wick Building Systems and Design Homes. He loved being outdoors and working in his gardens at his home in Boscobel and his property in Barnum. Gregory is survived by his life partner, Mary Jane Jacobus of Boscobel; his son, Victor (Tami) Syverson; Mary Jane's daughter, Kristen (Bob) Gephart; brothers, Ed (Maggie) Lund and Joe (Bernice) Lund; his grandchildren: Jayden, Jossie, and Carter Syverson, and Keegan and Alice Gephart; his aunt, Lola Childs; and all his special nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal and paternal grandparents; his brothers: Gene, Glen, and Randy; and his aunts, uncles, and other relatives. Greg was a quiet person with a good heart. He will be missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to the Boscobel American Legion Post, American Cancer Society , Feed My People , or the charity of your choice. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Vosseteig Funeral Home in Gays Mills. Military Honors will take place at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Per Greg’s wishes, masks will be required at the Celebration of Life.
