Hannah M. Roberts, age 63 of DeSoto, died at Gundersen Lutheran in LaCrosse on Saturday, February 10, 2007. Hannah M. Roberts, age 63 of DeSoto, died at Gundersen Lutheran in LaCrosse on Saturday, February 10, 2007. Hannah was born to Lloyd and Helen (Kumlin) West in LaCrosse on December 26, 1943. She graduated from Milton High School in 1963. In 1966, she married John Roberts and had two children: Kimberly and Jeremiah. Hannah worked at various jobs, but retired in 2002 after 18 years at Northern Engraving. The true highlight for Hannah was being "Nana" to her only grandchild, Sierra: Nana will be missed greatly "till we meet again". Hannah is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Don) Martinson and granddaughter, Sierra of DeSoto; John Roberts of DeSoto; her sister, Nancy (David) Olson of Stoughton; and her extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Jeremiah. Per Hannahs wish, she will be cremated. Friends and family will gather at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 320 Main St. in DeSoto on Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. followed by a graveside service at the Walnut Mound Cemetery at Retreat with Pastor Libby Howe officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
