Heath J. Erlandson, age 38 of Westby, died on Saturday, May 14, 2016 as the result of addiction. Heath J. Erlandson, age 38 of Westby, died on Saturday, May 14, 2016 as the result of addiction. He was born on September 3, 1977 in LaCrosse to Kris Erlandson and Frances (Hansen). He attended Westby Area Schools and graduated from Westby High School. He took up a career in commodities and moved to Florida. He was a talented athlete and was a generous person to a fault. Heaths sons meant everything to him and he loved them with all his heart. He is survived by his two sons: Drake and Winston Erlandson and their mother, Laura (Elisius); his parents: Dr. Kris and Roberta Erlandson and Frances and David Eklund; brothers: Christopher, Philip and Kooper Erlandson, and Casey and Chad Eklund; maternal grandmother, Betty Hansen; aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Walter and Lilah Erlandson; and maternal grandfather, Lyle "Swede" Hansen; two uncles, Eric and Dr. Martin Erlandson. Blessed be our memory of Heath John Erlandson. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Westby Coon Prairie Lutheran Church. Pastors Dan and Julie Wollman will officiate. Burial will be in the Coon Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Main Street in Westby.
