Helen C. Tallon, February 21, 2005 Helen C. Tallon, age 77 of Westby and formerly of Kenosha, died Monday, February 21, 2005 at the Vernon Manor Nursing Home in Viroqua. She was born on July 31, 1927 in Pittsburgh, PA. Helens father, Thomas Geyer was born in the country of Hungary and her mother Matilda Marie (Straub) Geyer was born in Pittsburgh, PA. Helen enjoyed many things in life including shopping, fishing, snowmobiling and gardening when her health permitted. In addition to being a homemaker, Helen managed bands and arranged their performances. She also enjoyed dancing and would often attend the dances of the bands she managed. She is survived by four children: Raymond (Peggy) Dewey of Pittsburgh, PA, James (Sherry) Dewey of Westby, WI, William "Jesse" (Lawona) Dewey of Viroqua, WI, and Kathy (Val) Benner of Toledo, OH; three step-sons: Keith Tallon of Kenosha, WI, Steve Tallon of Madison, WI, and Bruce Tallon of Amsterdam, Netherlands; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; six step grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; and her brother, Thomas Geyer, Jr. of Polk, PA.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Master Sargeant Elmer J.
