Herman O. Clark, age 78 of Cashton, died Tuesday, May 13, 2008. Herman O. Clark, age 78 of Cashton, passed away at Norseland Nursing Home in Westby, WI on May 13, 2008 with family by his side. He was born on December 14, 1929 in Monroe County, Township of Sheldon, Cashton, WI, the son of Emo and Salina (Melby) Clark. In 1955 he married Betty Lind in Hillsboro WI. Herman worked for Trane Company for 43 years, retiring at the age of 65. He was also a 25 year club member. Herman loved farming and camping and most of all he loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Herman is survived by his wife, Betty of 52 years and his children: Norman Clark and fiance, Renee Mahlum of Holmen, WI; Kenneth (Andrea) Clark of Sparta, WI; Gerald Clark of Cashton, WI; Kimberly (Ken) Schuttemeier of Westby, WI; Kathy (Mark) Parshall of Westby, WI; grandchildren: Finley Clark, Haley Clark, Ashley Clark, Karissa (Aaron) Keenlance, Kyla Schuttemeier, Kenny Schuttemeier, Tyler Clark, Ricki Parshall, Keean Parshall; great-grandchildren: Kiarra, Amaya, and Alyx Keenlance; step grandchildren: Tina (Ben) Walkey, Rebecca (Eric) Green; step great-grandchildren: Noah Rueckheim, Nathanel and Megan Walkey; Sisters: Deltha Schumacher of La Crosse, WI and Judy Stanek of Kenosha, WI; brothers: Ivan (Betty) Clark of La Crosse, WI, Mahlen (Rosie) Clark of Norwalk, WI, Bob (Margy) Clark of Yuba, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Clark; sister, Elaine Tydrick; brothers-in-law: Bernard Schumacher, Martin Tydrick, Don Stanek; sister-in-law, Ruby Clark. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2008 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Westby, WI. Pastor Gary Daines will officiate with burial in the North Coon Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Main Street (Hwy 14) in Westby.
