Hugh F. Lieurance, 88 of Viola, died Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Hugh F. Lieurance, 88, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Vernon Manor in Viroqua, WI, where he had been a resident since April 2008. He was born September 5, 1922 on Pleasant Ridge, rural Viroqua. He was the youngest of seven children born to Fredrick and Rose Lieurance. All have preceded him in death.Hugh farmed his entire life in rural Viola and loved working the land. He also worked in road construction and as a custodian at Kickapoo High School. Hugh is survived by his wife, Elaine; children: James (Rita) Lieurance, Judy Nicks, Jennifer (Carl) Wallace, JoAnn Lieurance (Randy Buchholz), Julie (Edward) Smithey; grandchildren: Jerry (Shelley) Nicks, Phil (Stephanie) Neprud, Elonda (Ande) Wallace-Harris, Patrick (Stephanie) Lieurance, Matthew Neprud, Josh (Sarah) Wallace, Michael (Sara) Lieurance, Tyler (fiance Jamie Johnson) Lowinski, Ross Smithey, Lauren Smithey; great-grandchildren: Conner & Chloe Lieurance, Elizabeth Rose and Anabelle Lieurance, Lucas & Lindsey Nicks, Elyse Neprud, Isabela Harris, Mason Neprud and Aaliyah Wallace.As we remember your love of family and friends, you will always be precious in our hearts.
