Hugh H. Hentz, age 48 of Pardeeville, Wis., died Saturday, October 27, 2007 Hugh H. Hentz, age 48 of Pardeeville, Wis., died Saturday, October 27, 2007 in rural Stevens Point, Wis. He was born on August 23, 1959 in Milwaukee to Donald and Phyllis Hentz. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. On December 10, 2004 he was united in marriage to Stacey Oliphant and shared a relationship that was full of love, friendship and spirit. Hugh cherished his role as a father, and in addition to his wife, Stacey, he is survived by his children: Connor and Annika; step-sons: Vince, Keaton, and Gavin; his parents, Donald and Phyllis of Portage; and good friend, Matthew Otto of Cedarburg, Wis; A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Devils Lake State Park (South Shore). Pastor George Shick will officiate. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Pflanz Mantly Mendrala Funeral Home, 430 W. Wisconsin St. (Hwy 16) in Portage, Wis. Friends may also call on Wednesday after 12:00 noon at Devils Lake State Park. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is serving the family.
