James F. Martin August 31 2005 James F. Martin of Ferryville, Wisconsin died Wednesday, August 31 at the age of 77 at Vernon Manor, Viroqua. He was born March 21, 1928 in Oak Park, IL to James and Gertrude (Anderson) Martin. He was married to Jean Simkus on March 7, 1953. In addition to his wife Jean, Jim is survived by two daughters Karen and Francine; two sons Scott (Fay) and James (Judy); three grandchildren Andrew, Renee, and Sarah. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, two aunts, three uncles, and Karens husband Steven Korando. Private family services will be held at a later date in Copper Harbor, Michigan. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of DeSoto is serving the family.
