James M. Knight

James M. Knight, age 53 of LaCrosse, died Friday, April 15, 2011. James M. Knight, age 53 of Westby, died of an apparent heart attack on Friday, April 15, 2011. He was born on April 9, 1958 to Jack and Delores (Stellner) Knight. He attended Edgerton High School and worked in logging for many years. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, and working on cars. He was formerly married to Pam Johnson and Kristi Ethridge. On February 9, 2007 he was united in marriage to April Sandvick in Viroqua, Wi. In addition to April he is survived by his children: Kevin Ethridge, Kati (Randy) Valentine, Kodi (Alison Baumgarten) Ethridge; grandson, Ajay Valentine; siblings: Vicki (Scott Paape) Buhrow, Cheryl (James) Hanson, Julie (John Green) Jambois, Kevin (Jennifer) Knight, Tammy (Larry) Kopchick, Keith (Brittini Fish) Knight; many nieces and nephews; father and mother-in-law: Homer and Karen Clark; sister-in-law, Cindy (Dan) Kittle; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Services will be held on Thusday, April 21, 2011 at 5 p.m. at the Bethany Lutheran Church, Esofea. Friends may call on Thursday after 3 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials are preferred. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is serving the family.
