James R. Reynolds

James R. Reynolds, 80, of Viroqua died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 James Russell Reynolds, Jr., died at age 80, Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Vernon Manor with his family at his bedside. Jim is survived by his wife, Linda; a son, Russell Linn (Julie) of Colombia, Missouri; two daughters: Clarissa (Jeff) Amundson of Elcho, Wis. And Lisa (Terry) Vesel of Hibbing, Minn; and two stepdaughters: Dawn (Rick) Olson of Onalaska, WI. and Sheila (Terry) Olson of Viroqua; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a sister, Louise (Norman) Butenhoff of Shell Lake, WI; and a brother, Charles Reynolds of Elgin, SC; other relatives and many friends; and Gigi, his French Bulldog. Jim worked as a lineman district rep for Northern States Power Company of 34 years and 8 months. Jim and his wife Linda enjoyed their church and helping other people. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Viroqua. Pastor Kathryn Ingbritsen will officiate with burial in the Mt. Sterling Church Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 3-6 p.m. at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 W. Decker St., (Hwy. 56) in Viroqua and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Service. In lieu of flowers and plants memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church or to the Salvation Army in this season of need or to the choice of the donor.
