Jane Corson

Jane Corson, 85, of Genoa, died Friday, February 23, 2018. Jane Corson May 22, 1932-February 23, 2018 Jane Corson, a treasured member of the Lallas family, passed away on February 23 at the age of 85. To us, she was Juanna, Nouna and like another mother. She was our friend, our confidant and our source of unending and unconditional love and was the backbone of our family. Jane was the second child of Greek immigrants, born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Initially, she worked at Marshall Fields, rising to the position of lead buyer in the childrens furniture department. Upon the request of family, she became the assistant manager of A & B Super Foods in Chicago and later became the family farm manager. In 1969, along with her family, she took early retirement in Romance, Wisconsin to enjoy farm life. To Jane, family, friends and the farm were everything. Within her community, she will be remembered for her kindness and smiling face. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Corson (Sparta, Greece) and Nicoleta Corson (Tegeas Tripolis, Greece), her sister Angeline Lallas and brother in-law Nickolas Lallas. She will be loved and remembered by her two nephews, Soterios (Ak) Lallas and George Lallas. Aks wife Nancy and their children, Nickolas and his wife Melissa Iverson, and Anastasia Biederman and her husband, Daniel. Georges wife Bessie Sue Lallas-Colling and their sons, Mathias Lallas, his wife Christina, and Nathan Lallas. A private family burial and celebration of life will take place at a later date.
