Janice Marie Parmly

Janice Marie (Getter) Parmly, of Greenfield Indiana and formerly Viroqua, died Wednesday, November 6, 2019. Janice was born in Viroqua on February 20, 1936 to Pearl and Nina (Appleman) Getter. Janice enjoyed jewelry making, sewing, cooking and baking. She married Arlo Parmly of Ferryville WI on December 26, 1954. Those left to cherish memories of Janice include her sons, Perry (Heidi), Phil, and Preston Parmly; her daughters, Pam (Ron) Flink and Paula (Sam) Dickenson; her grandchildren, Brandon Parmly, Allyce Ansolini, Aaron Blockey, Madison Parmly, Alacia Parmly, Jacob Parmly, Ethan Parmly, Justin Dickenson, and Jennifer Dickenson Berry; as well as 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband Arlo; her brothers, Harold, Harland, Bernel, and Donald Getter; her sisters Verna Mary Anderson and Deloris Lindquist. A Funeral Service for Janice will be Sunday, November 10, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 W. Decker, in Viroqua. Friends may call during a Visitation on Sunday from 12-noon until the service begins at 1:00.
