Jeffery Sanwick, 49, of Viroqua, died Friday, February 17, 2017. Jeffery A. Sanwick, 49, died Friday, February 17th, 2017 at his home. Jeff was born May 20th, 1967 to Ole and Beverly (Kingston) Sanwick in Janesville Wisconsin. Jeff graduated from Viroqua High School in 1985. He was a genius in the automotive profession all of his life. On September 30th, 1989 he married his wife Cheryl Fortney and had two sons. Jeff was a member of the Viroqua Eagles and was looking forward to attending the state bowling tournament in March with his team. He enjoyed cruising around in his Chevelle with his wife during the summer months. Every year he and his boys enjoyed getting derby cars ready for the Vernon County Fair. He followed in his dads footsteps and always enjoyed shaking dice or playing cards. Jeff is survived by his wife Cheryl; two sons Todd (Alyssa), and Troy; his mother Beverly; one Brother Mike; nieces: Casey, Hailey, and Kyia; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well with his in-laws Almon and Sonja Fortney. Jeff was also looking forward to meeting his first grandchild coming this July. He is preceded in death by his father Ole Sanwick; paternal grandparents Tilman and Anna Sanwick; maternal grandparents, James and Dorris Kingston; aunt Ingeborg and uncles: Conard, David, Richard, and Peter. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home (123 W Decker, HWY 56) in Viroqua. Pastor Yvonne Marshall will officiate with burial to follow in the Viroqua Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-6pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Funeral Home. Friends may also call on Wednesday from 10am till the time of service at 11. In lieu of plants or flowers, memorials are preferred.
