Jill E. Vosseteig

Jill (Robb) Vosseteig, age 90, of Galesville, died Thursday, September 28, 2023, at the Marinuka Manor Nursing Home in Galesville. She was born on December 13, 1932, in Nashville, Tennessee to Tracy Sr. and Lucy (Sterry) Robb and grew up in the Ridgetop, Tennessee area. On October 3, 1952, she was united in marriage to Jens Arlo Vosseteig in Springfield, Tennessee. In addition to working with Jens in their farming operation, Jill was a bookkeeper at Gilbertson-Meyer in Galesville for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Jill Sue Vosseteig-Nash; three grandchildren: Beau Hershberger, Robbey Nash, and Jens Nash; one brother-in-law, David (Kay) Vosseteig; one niece, Elizabeth (Jason) Cheever; two nephews: Jay (Cathy) Vosseteig and John Vosseteig.

In addition to her parents, Jill was preceded in death by her husband Jens on June 20, 2017; daughter, Deborah Hershberger; and her brother and sister-in-law, Tracy and Betsy Robb.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Galesville. Pastor Joe Iverson will officiate with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the burial at Beedles in Centerville. A visitation will be held a half hour prior to the service at the church. Online Condolences may be expressed at www.vossfh.com.
