John Douglas Lind

John Douglas LindNovember 22, 2005 John Douglas Lind, age 63 of LaFarge and formerly of Viroqua, was born on May 19, 1942 to Adolph and Alice (Fauske) Lind of rural Viroqua. John went to his heavenly home on November 22, 2005 at Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua. John lived in Northern Colony, Chippewa Falls; Central Colony, Madison; and Peterson Health Care, Rhinelander, Wisconsin before moving to Copper Family Services in LaFarge in 1997. He took part in Opportunities Unlimited Sheltered Workshops. His life in LaFarge seemed to be full and satisfying for him and his kind and gentle spirit touched many people. He is survived by his brothers: Charles (JoAnne) Lind of Viroqua and Richard (Dorothea) Lind of Sarona, WI and Green Valley, AZ; Uncle Henry Fauske and Aunt Gladys (Oscar) Fauske; his nieces: Janice Lind of Lunenburg, MA, Mary Raddant of Manchester, CT, Amy Penchi of Genoa, Elise Lind and Jennifer Lind of Portland, OR; and his nephews: Carl Lind of Onalaska, Eric Lind of Genoa, James Lind of Viroqua, Mark Lind of LaCrosse, and Stephen Lind of Neenah, WI. John was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Janice in infancy and a brother Raymond who was stillborn.
