John O�Neill

John ONeill, 83, of Minong, WI, died Sunday, October 21, 2012. John Christopher O'Neill died on October 21, 2012 after a brief illness in Rice Lake Wisconsin. John was the son of Christopher and Florence O'Neill and was born on September 11, 1929 in Lake Geneva, WI. He attended Lake Geneva schools and was a Navy veteran. After the Navy John returned to Lake Geneva and became a plumber. After retiring he spent the last years of his life in Gordon, Wisconsin. John is survived by his step daughters Pam Burbey and Carole Mahoney; grandchildren: Matt and Amber Burbey, Ashley Burbey (fianc Ryan Buckner), Michael and Theresa Mahoney, and Lisa and Brian Faulk; great-grandchildren: Oliver Burbey, Ryan Mahoney; Mason and Mitchell Faulk; brother Michael O'Neill; sister Patricia; and dear friend Roger Greenwood. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Norma, Natalie, Betty, and Chuck; and his life companion of over 50 years, Mary C. Behling Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Gays Mills. Burial will follow in Gays Mills Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Gays Mills is serving the family.
