John Walter, 50, of Viola, died Friday, November 6, 2015. John "Johnny" Carl Walter On Friday, November 6, 2015 Johnny was pronounced dead at his home in Viola, Wisconsin. John was 50 years old. Johnny was born on September 30, 1965 in Anaheim, California. He was the second child of JoAnne and Jerry Walter. After returning to Wisconsin Johnny attended Kickapoo Area Schools in Viola. He graduated from Kickapoo High School in 1984. John often talked of his high school days and the dear friends he had made there. He was very active in sports and had many fond memories and stories of his experiences and teammates. Later in his life he worked for many years with his Dad doing construction and carpentry work. John was a talented carpenter and took much pride in his work and accomplishments. John held great pride and love of his niece Jenny Heal and nephew Jay Heal. He found joy following their activities while growing up. Later John had more sports to watch and enjoy when his great-nephew Blake Heal joined his family. Over the years, John traveled many miles to watch wrestling matches and football games. Johnny loved his family. As everyone knows Johnny was a complete and total Minnesota Viking fan his entire life. Not matter how much harassment he endured he stayed steadfast. John passed his love for the Vikings on to his nephew Jay as well. Blake has not inherited this fault as of yet!! John Carl Walter was preceded in death by his Mother JoAnne (Carlin) Walter and his Father Jerry Walter. John is survived by his sister Joyce Patterson, brother-in-law Clyde Patterson, Niece Jennifer Heal, Nephew Jay Heal and spouse Stacy (Simonis) Heal and Great-Nephew Blake Heal. May the memory of Johnny Walter remain in our hearts forever. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 1- 3 pm at the Vosseteig Funeral Home Henthorn Chapel in Viola.
