Joshua Shane Larson

Joshua Shane Larson, age 44, of Prairie du Chien and formerly of Soldiers Grove, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022. He was born September 19, 1977, in Boscobel to Deidra Larson. Josh attended North Crawford Schools and obtained his GED. He won the Jefferson Award when he was in elementary school for his volunteer efforts at the local nursing home. He loved talking to the elderly and anything to do with the outdoors. He was most proud of his family and his son, Ole. Survivors include his mom, Deidra Larson; his son, Ole; his siblings, Alicia (Pat) Anderson and Shay (Elizabeth) Larson; seven nephews; four nieces; Hannah Kast, mother of Ole; numerous aunts and uncles; other relatives and friends. Josh was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Inez and Ervin Larson; his great-nephew, Bentley Anderson; his uncles, Burlie, Cecil, Terry, Phillip, Mike, and Tom Walsh; his aunt, Ramona and numerous other family members. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Soldiers Grove. Pastor Carrie Anderson will officiate.
