Judy Lawrence, 71 of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Judy L. Lawrence, age 71 of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018. She was born in Dodgeville on February 7, 1947 to Fred and Betsy (Siggit) Ditzmen. On September 20, 1980 she was united in marriage to Cecil Lawrence and to this union was born a daughter, Cathy. She enjoyed watching old westerns, especially John Wayne, doing word searches and sewing. Judy loved her dog, Buddy and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by daughter, Cathy (Dustin Fish) Lawrence-Fish, son, Dan Fish; sister, Ardy; friend and longtime caregiver, Tara Burnham; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Cecil; siblings: Jane, Frank, Billy, and Shirley. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at LaFarge Free Methodist Church. Pastor Mark Phillips will officiate with burial in the Bear Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Sunday after 1:00 p.m. Blessed be our memory of Judy Lawrence. In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials are preferred.
