Justin B. Dieter

Justin Boyd “J.B.” Dieter, age 53, of Menomonee Falls, WI, passed away Monday, November 16, 2020, at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa after a month-long fight battling COVID-19. Justin was born July 18, 1967, in Racine, WI, to Byron William and Betty Virginia (Bankes) Dieter. He graduated from La Farge High School with the class of 1986. Following graduation, he honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He studied computer and electronic engineering technology at ITT Technical Institute, class of 2005. He also studied for a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Management at DeVry University in Chicago, class of 2006. Justin loved riding his Harley and driving his cars fast. He was a true Brewers fan, enjoyed country music, loved NASCAR racing and was a big Jimmy Johnson fan. Justin’s newest love was spending time with his grandson, Daniel. Survivors include his two daughters: Haley (Mitch) Peters and Hanah Dieter; his only grandchild, Daniel; his mother, Betty Dieter; six brothers: Gary (Char), Kevin, Troy (Sheila), Rees, Faron, and Errett Dieter; two sisters: Shelley Chitko and Shelah Connell; numerous nephews and nieces. Justin was preceded in death by his father, Byron William Dieter on July 15, 1989; his paternal grandparents, Samuel and Mary Dieter; his maternal grandparents, Kermit and Freda Bankes. Visitation will be held Monday, November 23, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Vosseteig Funeral Home, 203 N. State St in La Farge. The visitation will be live streamed on Vosseteig Funeral Home's Facebook page. Immediately following the visitation, Justin will be laid to rest in Bear Creek Cemetery, rural La Farge, with full military honors. A public Celebration of Justin’s life will be held in 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family appreciated. Justin’s family would like to thank the staff members at Froedtert Hospital for the care they provided.
