Karen Wanda Kast, age 61 of Viroqua, died unexpectedly at home Monday March 11, 2019. Karen Wanda Kast 61 of Viroqua WI passed away at her home on Monday March 11th 2019. She as born in Killeen, TX on March 9th 1958 to Roy Anthony Johnson and Karen Dorothy (Holt) Johnson. She graduated from Viroqua High School in 1976 then went on to earn her CNA certification. She worked for many years in healthcare before going to work at The Company Store. She enjoyed playing bingo, pulling pranks on her family, reading and doing diamond art. She is survived by her children: Kevin (Katie) Johnson, Tim Kast, Tammy Kast (Rob Michel); her grandchildren: Kerri and Kendra Johnson, Drew Hanson; great-grandchildren: Kayson Johnson and Kelsey Johnson; her siblings: Kathy Hatlan (Rex Hanson), Sandy Johnson, Donald (Jackie) Johnson and David Johnson; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and several other loved ones. A small visitation will be held for family and friends at Vosseteig Funeral Home in Viroqua on Monday March 18th 2019 from 1 until 2. A Celebration of Karens Life will take place Monday afternoon March 18, 2019 from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 W. Decker in Viroqua.
