Kasey Jr. Kaonohiakala Boardman,15, of DeSoto, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Kasey Jr. Kaonohiakala Boardman, age 15 of DeSoto, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at his home. He was born on July 4, 1999 in La Crosse, WI to Kasey and Nani Anuenue (Rodgers) Boardman. He was a sophomore at DeSoto High School where he participated in football, wrestling and baseball. Kasey enjoyed riding dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, snowmobiles, snowboarding, and farming with John Deere tractors. He is survived by his parents, Kasey and Nani Anuenue Boardman; one brother, Keagan Boardman and one sister, Kaleanohealani Boardman; maternal grandparents: Dave and Louise Rodgers; paternal grandfather, Mick Boardman; paternal great-grandparents: Deanna and Fred Olson and Dick and Marilyn Boardman; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Blessed be our memory of Kasey. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at New Hope United Methodist Church. Pastor Judie Jacobson and Debbie Groves will officiate.
