Kathleen A. Warner, age 68 of DeSoto, died Monday, January 21, 2008. Kathleen Ann Warner, age 68 of DeSoto, died Monday, January 21, 2008. She was born on November 26, 1939 in Milwaukee to Eugene and Alpha (Reichardt) Warner. She graduated from Washington High School, Milwaukee, in 1958. She had worked at St. Marys Hospital in Milwaukee and in 1993, received a Certificate of Achievement in Health Care Management from St. Marys for 15 years of service. After many years in the workforce, Kathleen went back to school and graduated from Cardinal Stritch College in 1997 where she earned a degree in Business Administration. She had lived in Grafton and Milwaukee prior to moving to LaCrosse where she worked at Franciscan Skemp Medical Center. About five years ago, Kathleen moved to her home in rural DeSoto where she enjoyed the country, watching wildlife and had been the Township of Wheatland Treasurer. She also loved birds (and had indoor birds for 17 years), crocheting, quilting, gardening and reading. Kathleen was also fascinated by Civil War history and made trips to the South to learn and see first hand a part of our countrys heritage. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by three children: Nadine Marie Belohlav of DeSoto, Todd Roger Belohlav and his wife, Christine Ann Belohlav of Brown Deer, Wis., and Alan John Belohlav and his wife Heidi Lee Belohlav of Belgium, Wis; one grandson, Nicholas Adam Belohlav of Green Bay, Wis. and one great-grandson, Dominic Keaton Belohlav. She is further survived by her brother, Elliot Warner of Milwaukee. Friends may call on Sunday afternoon, January 27, 2008 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 320 Main Street (Hwy 82) in DeSoto, Wisconsin. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of DeSoto is serving the family.
