Kathleen E. Haltorp

Kathleen E. Haltorp, age 90, died Wednesday May 9, 2018. Kathleen was born on July 16, 1927 to Oscar and Jeanette (Dahl) Erickson. She graduated from High School and married Alton Haltorp in 1947. She worked as a Nurses Aide at Vernon Manor for 25 years along with her husband Alton and her sister Delores. Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. She loved going to rummage sales and to the farmers market. She enjoyed hummingbirds, playing bingo, and other games of chance. Kathleen is survived by her children: Brenda Turben, Dennis Haltorp, and Linda Ostrem; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many other friends and family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alton; daughter, Judi; son, Larry; two brothers: Ralph Erickson and Eldon Erickson; and two sisters: Irene Kansier and Delores Olson. Funeral Services will be held at 3pm on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby. Pastor Pete Beckstrand will officiate.
