Kathleen Woods

Kathleen Woods, 76, of rural Cashton passed away December 25, 2020. She was born on August 24, 1944, to Chester and Joyce (Jeffers) Hilton. She graduated from Westby High School. She married William (Bill) Adams on August 26, 1962. They later divorced. She married Bruce Woods on April 2, 1983. She lived in the rural Westby/Cashton area most her life. Kathy was a happy person and always had an open door and the coffee pot on. She loved to go camping and had many adventures while camping. Family was very important to her and she hosted many family gathering over the years, whether small or family reunions. She is survived by her husband, Bruce; her children, John (Barbara) Adams, Janet (Steve) Holey and Ken (Renee) Adams. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cordell Adams, Jeff (Tabitha) Holey, Becca (Brandon) Dunnum, Matthew Halverson, Anthony Halverson and Shawnelle Halverson; great-grandchildren: Abigail and Orlando Holey, Hendrich Dunnum, Gabe Adams, Brantley, A J., Jaxyn, Oliver, and Lillian. She is further survived by siblings, Nancy (Wayne) Pautsch and Chester Jr (Linda) Hilton; sister-in-law, Diana (Rob) Poulson and brothers in law, David (Peggy) Woods, Tim (Robin) Woods, and Bill Woods. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Bill and her grandson, Bradley Adams. Kathy wouldn’t want you to mourn or weep at her passing. Remember the good times each of you shared with her and live life to its fullest. Kathy's family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice and the doctors at Scenic Bluffs. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, at Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby. Pastor George Shick will officiate. The service will be streamed on the Facebook page of Vosseteig Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Dell Cemetery.
