Kay Bolstad

Kay Bolstad, 65, of De Soto, died Monday, August 1, 2016. Kay was born April 29, 1951 to Orie and Coral (Revel) Hanson. She married Richard Bolstad on August 19th, 1968 in Missouri. Kay loved spending time in the garden and cooking up delicious meals with the raised produce. You could often find her engaed in a rousing game of Euchre and lets not forget following the highs and lows of the Packers season. Go Pack! Kay lived the last few years with her companion, Karl Howell, in the De Soto area. She is survived by two sisters: Margie (Floyd) Piepenhagen of Cashton, and Carolyn (Butch) Andren of Piedmont, South Dakota; a brother, Clayton (Sally) Hanson of Richland Center; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; daughter, Lisa Bolstad; and two sisters: Lois Bjerkaas and Donna Laufenberg. Private family services were held.
