Keith L. Wright

Keith Leroy Wright, age 85, of Boma Ridge, rural Ferryville, WI, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024. He was born on April 13, 1939, in Alice, IA, to the late Orville and Augusta (Baldwin) Wright. Keith was baptized at Coggon Methodist Church in Iowa.

He married Dorothy Baute on December 24, 1959, in the United Methodist Church in Kirksville, MO. Keith was a police officer in Iowa from 1959 to 1963, when they moved to Boma Ridge on November 9, 1963, where they dairy farmed together until Dorothy’s passing in 2006. Keith served on the Utica Lutheran Church Board, Seneca School Board, Soldiers Grove Cheese Factory Board, and as District Rep for Swiss Valley Farms for many years.

Keith is survived by his two sons, Allan K. and Charles D. (Lori) both of rural Ferryville; one granddaughter, Crystal Wright; and his lifelong friend, Gene Kula.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; his parents; and his siblings: Donovan, Merle “Butch”, Dixie (Leon), Ronnie, and Lonnie.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Utica Lutheran Church, rural Ferryville. Pastor Lynn Schreck will officiate. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Keith will be laid to rest at the church cemetery next to his wife.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ocooch Rescue Squad or North Crawford Rescue Squad in Keith’s memory.
