Kenneth V. Allen

Kenneth V. Allen, 94, of Viroqua died peacefully, Wednesday, August 14, 2013. He was born January 5, 1919 to Guy and Bertha Allen. He is survived by daughters: Barbara Bodensack and Sharon Gibbs; grandaughters Stephanie Weber and Christina Rogers; great grandsons: Matthew, Ryan, and Jacob Rogers; sister-in-laws Darlene Johnson and Donna (Kenny) Arnetveit; and many wonderful, loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Margie; son-in-laws Jim Gibbs and Horst Bodensack; brother Wayne and sister Evelyn. Kenneth was a World War II Veteran. In lieu of flowers, donations to Maplewood Assisted Living, Viroqua. Services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, August 19, 2013 at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 W. Decker St, Viroqua. The Reverend Dr. Steven Fossum will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at 6.
