Larry Kluev Kluever

Larry "Kluev" Kluever, 66, of Viroqua, died at home on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. Larry was born on August 17, 1950 in Davenport, Iowa to Wilbert and Grace (Meyer) Kluever. He graduated from the West High School in Davenport. Larry met Rita Fredrickson and they have spent the last 41 years together. Kluev was an excellent carpenter and worked with the Vernon County Courthouse and later in life drove bus for VARC. He was a member of the National Guard, serving 6 years as a refrigeration specialist and was a member of the Eagles Club. Kluev loved to go boating and being outdoors in nature. He was also proud to be a Bears fan in Packerland. Larry is survived by his loving family: Rita, and their son, Jeremy Fredrickson; three sisters: Sandra Dick of Long Grove, IA, Judith Anderson of Princeton, IA, and Donna (Terry) Muilenburg of Le Claire, IA; Ritas siblings: Vicki, Cheryl, Jeannie, Laurie, and Rick; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Grace; sister, Marlene Arp; brother, Roger; and Ritas father, Richard Fredrickson. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Monday, December 19, 2016 at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home (123 W Decker) in Viroqua. Pastor Kathryn Ingbritsen will officiate with burial to follow in the Viroqua Cemetery. Friends may call at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home from 12pm till the time of service at 1. In lieu of plants or flowers, memorials are preferred. Online Condolences may be offered at www.VossFH.com. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
