Laura J. Groskreutz, 39 of rural DeSoto, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Laura J. Groskreutz, 39 of rural DeSoto, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 as the result of a farm accident.Laura was born January 6, 1972 in Redwing, MN to Allen and Carrolyn (Grape) Langbein and graduated from Ellsworth High School. She was united in marriage to Jeffrey Groskreutz at St. Pauls United Church of Christ in Ellsworth on April 9, 1994. Laura was a hardworking dairy farmer. She was a wonderful mother and was dedicated to the life they chose to live. She will be dearly missed by all.Laura is survived by her husband Jeffrey; children Jesse, Justin, Joseph, Jalyssa; parents Allen and Carrolyn Langbein; mother and father-in-law John and Dianne Groskreutz; brother Phillip (Sherry) Langbein; sister Petty Officer First Class Renee (William) Langbein; brother-in-law Jim (Tami) Groskreutz; many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, January 31 at De Soto Lutheran Church. Pastor Doug Andersen will officiate. Friends may call on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Burial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Harrisville Cemetery in Harrisville.The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of De Soto is serving the family.
