Lauren Zogg, age 72 of Viroqua, died Thursday, April 2, 2009. Lauren William Zogg, age 72 of Viroqua, died Thursday evening, April 2, 2009 at Gundersen-Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse. He was born on November 27, 1936 to William and Bernice (Johnson) Zogg. On June 13, 1959 he was united in marriage to Lila J. Mellem. Lauren held various jobs throughout his life (but liked retirement the best!). In addition to his wife, Lila, Lauren is survived by one son, Jay (Elena) Zogg of Cable; two daughters, Debra (Eric) Kappmeyer of La Crosse and Laurie (Steve) Schlosser of Arkansaw, WI; five granddaughters: Breanna Zogg, Allison and Kelly Kappmeyer, Elizabeth and Katherine Cyrowski; one brother, Roger (Kay) Zogg of Viroqua; one sister, Virginia (Ron) Mills of Radisson, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael Zogg.Blessed be our memory of Lauren William Zogg. Friends may call on Monday, April 6, 2009 from 1 to 3 p.m. with a prayer service at 2:30 p.m. by Pastor Pete Beckstrand, at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 W. Decker (Hwy 56) in Viroqua. Burial will be in the Franklin Cemetery.The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
