LaVonne Kay Clark

LaVonne Kay Clark, age 79, of Gays Mills, WI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 19, 2025. LaVonne was born to the late Ralph and Leota McVay in Marion, Iowa. Upon completion of high school in Marion, LaVonne married the love of her life, Ronald “Ron” Eugene Clark, and moved to Wisconsin to purchase a farm and began her career as a dairy farmer.

LaVonne deeply enjoyed farming, horseback riding with Ron, caring for her pets and animals, spending time with close friends in Crawford County, enjoying holidays with her son and daughter, and cheering on her grandsons in their many sports (especially wrestling).

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Dion) Clark, her son, Bryan (Cecilia) Clark; her grandchildren, Landen and Kaden Clark; and her brother, Keith (Eunmi) McVay. She was preceded in death by her dad Ralph; her mom, Leota; brothers, Don and Duane, and sisters, Dorothy and Mary.

A Celebration of LaVonne’s Life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, beginning at 11AM (20497 Hady Lane, Gays Mills, WI 54631). LaVonne will be cremated and laid to rest next to the love of her life, Ron Clark, at Haney Cemetery at 10AM. Online Condolences may be expressed at www.vossfh.com.
