Leah L. (Rheinschmidt) Anderson, age 86, of Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 8th, 2023. Leah was born to Norman and Gladys (Roth) Rheinschmidt on June 5th, 1937, in Beloit, Wisconsin.
She is survived by her five children: Anna Marie (Brad) Beeman, Mark (Sue) Anderson, Rebecca Anderson, Andrew (Jody) Anderson, and Steven (Shelley) Anderson; 18 Grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Leah was preceded in death by her husband, Gaylord; a brother, Daniel; and sister-in-law, Yvonne Rheinschmidt.
Leah truly enjoyed baking, cooking, harvesting the garden in the fall, and maintaining her flower beds. She also really enjoyed putting on a big feast for the crew at family gatherings. Leah was a social butterfly. She loved to visit with friends and helping out her family whenever she could. Leah worked at the Riverdale Manor in Muscoda, Wisconsin as a cook for many years. She then retired from Mecury in Richland Center, Wisconsin. Leah and her late husband Gaylord will be put to rest at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Sabin, Wisconsin.
A celebration of life for Leah and Gaylord will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 9th, 2023, at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Sabin with a luncheon to follow at the Boaz Community Center. In lieu of flowers the family ask that any donations be made to G.R.A.C.E in Richland Center, Wisconsin (P.O. Box 213, Richland Center, WI 53581).
