John Williams Lee Williams Lee Williams, age 59 and his son John Williams, age 15 both of Viroqua, died on Thursday, December 3, 2009 as the result of an auto accident. Lee Williams, age 59 and his son John Williams, age 15, both of Viroqua, died suddenly on Thursday, December 3, 2009 as the result of an auto accident.Lee was born on November 29, 1950 in Arkansas to A. Lee Williams, Sr. and Beverly (Amick). He worked 37 years with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation prior to retirement. Lee was a sports fan, avid gardener and a Harley-Davidson enthusiast. He is survived by his wife, Susan (Mullen) to whom he was married on June 8, 1991; his mother, Bev Crawford of California; two sons: Bryan Williams of California and Adam Williams of Georgia; daughter, Alicia (Jon) Barrette of Westby; granddaughter, Ella Barrette; one brother, Jeff Williams and one sister, Lisa Davis, both of California. He was preceded in death by his father, A. Lee Williams, Sr. John Williams was born on May 13, 1994 in California to Lee and Susan (Mullen) Williams. He was currently a sophomore at Viroqua High School where he participated in hockey and baseball. John loved music and it was his passion. He is survived by his mother, Susan Williams; paternal grandmother, Bev Crawford; sister, Alicia (Jon) Barrette; two brothers: Bryan Williams of California and Adam Williams of Georgia ; niece, Ella Barrette; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Alice Mullen and his paternal grandfather, A. Lee Williams, Sr. Joint services will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 W. Decker in Viroqua. Pastor Pete Beckstrand will officiate with burial at a later date in Brownsville, MN . In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials are preferred to the Blackhawk boys hockey team. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
